I can never say enough about Robert and Lawanda. They truly blessed my life. I stayed in their home as a teenager . They always showed love , care and we're just very welcoming to me. I wouldn't be the person I am today if I didn't have the chance to spend the time I did living with them. May the Lord be with the family in this difficult time. We all know they are now in Heaven and at peace

My heart is aching today as I hear of your loss. Your Mom and Dad were so wonderful to me growing up at First Assembly. Such love of life and God, they will be missed but I can see Lawanda running down the streets of glory rejoicing in being with God.

To all of the Emberson children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren I want to say how honored I am to have been a friend and caregiver co-worker with LaWanda. The profession of private caregiver can be challenging, sometimes lonely, often heart-breaking but always over-flowing with God's blessings. Being on a caregiver team with LaWanda for several years made the work easier for me because of her amazing compassion and know-how. We prayed together over the sick and dying and I'm sure they were all at Heaven's Gate welcoming her home and thanking her for her loving service. You can all be so very proud of her for being so special in so many ways. I didn't get to know Robert except for the many things she shared with me about him and the wonderful family she so loved. See ya'll in Heaven someday.
