Zelma Stevens

Zelma Mae Ferren Stevens, 79, of Judsonia, Arkansas passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 22,2021 
at Unity Health-White County Medical Center in Searcy. Zelma was born on June 7, 1941 to the late 
Albert Franklin Ferren and Elsie Mae Ferren in White County, Arkansas.
A Christian woman, who would give those in need the shirt off her back, Zelma enjoyed western movies, 
catfish dinners with her family, Christmas all year round, and arranging flowers. She had a special 
affection for her pets, Beanie and Blackie
Mrs. Stevens is survived by her high school sweetheart and husband of 61 years, Carthel Stevens, of the 
home; three sons Jackie Stevens and his wife Angie of Little Rock, Marty Stevens of Judsonia and 
Andrew Stevens of Searcy; six grandchildren, Haley Stevens, Cassidy Stevens, Ashley Pattyson, Miranda
Stevens, Hayle Stevens and Journie Stevens.

Graveside services will be 2:00 pm Thursday, June 3, 2021 at Providence Cemetery in Judsonia.
