Wilma Jean Barkley

Wilma Jean Barkley, “Bobbie”, beloved mother and Nana, age 80, of Searcy, Arkansas gained her wings and entered into her eternal Heavely home on September 13, 2022 at Unity Health in Searcy. Born on June 4, 1942 she was the daughter of the late Aaron and Lois Elms.

Bobbie loved riding horses and playing the piano, hobbies which she passed along to many members of her family! They brought her so much joy! She had a passion for caring for others that she turned into a career in nursing. Bobbie enjoyed serving her Lord by reading her bible and singing hymns. Her main joy in life was her family- daughters, sons-in-law, grandchildren, and great grandchildren! Each generation has brought her more and more happiness! She is loved and will be missed beyond measure.

She is survived by her daughters- Jackie Gay and husband Dwight of Searcy, Pam Cooper and husband Millard of Searcy, and Wendy Pipes of Conway, her grandchildren Dustin Rollins, Jenna Hudson, Meagin Talley (Josh), Taylor Brock (Robert), Ashley Rolett, Jayden Woodruff, and Brooklynn and Breanna Vest, and great grandchildren Brooklynn Bailey, Bailey Rolett and Mason and Madden Talley.

A private celebration of life will be held Monday for immediate family. Flowers may be sent to Sullivan Funeral Care in Kensett.
