William Eugene Taylor
Obituary
William (Bill) E. Taylor, age 81, passed away in Little Rock on August 15, 2023.
Bill was born on April 15, 1942 in Kensett, Arkansas to the late Winfred E. and Leda Taylor. He is also predeceased by sister Lavern Gray.
He is survived by his loving wife to whom he was married 60 years, Fern W. Taylor, son, Steven W. Taylor (Elizabeth), granddaughters Amy Horton (Billy), Jennifer Taylor and Stephanie Taylor, grandson William E. Taylor II, and sister Patricia Scott.
Bill enjoyed hunting, fishing, horses, genealogy and history. He was a past president of the Arkansas Society of the Sons of the American Revolution with 15 confirmed patriots.
Bill was a 55 year member of IBEW local 295.
Bill was the past Master of the Kensett and Magnolia Masonic Lodges.
Memorial services will be held at the First Baptist Church of Kensett on Saturday, August 19, 2023, at 10 a.m. Graveside services will follow.
