Obituary
Wanda Lee Cooper, age 84, of Searcy went home to be with her Lord on Saturday, April 1, 2023. She was born April 19, 1938, in Crosby, Arkansas to the late Chris and Annie Beals. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Allen Cooper, her siblings Eugene, Olan, Harold and Clifton Beals, Katie Webb, and Joann Green. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Kensett. She was a loving mother and grandmother. In her spare time, she enjoyed sewing and playing BINGO.
She is survived by her children, Bobby Rice, Tim Rice and his wife Mary, Pamela Davis and her husband Brian, grandchildren Melanie Hughey, Leeann Turner, Bobby Ray Rice, and Roxie Young, one great-grandchild, Grace Young and her sister, Evelyn Jones, and her husband Larry.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 5, 2023, at Sullivan Funeral Care in Kensett. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery in Rosebud.
