Timothy Harold Jones

Timothy Harold Jones, 64, of McRae, went to be with the Lord August 30, 2020 at his residence.  He was born February 22, 1956 at Oakland, California to the late Harold and Florence Holeman Jones.
     Tim was a member of the White County Sheriff’s Department Auxiliary and a member of First Baptist Church of McRae.
     Tim graduated McRae High School in 1974 and furthered his education with ASU Beebe where he was a member of the Rodeo team and was working towards a degree in animal science.  He worked for Jacuzzi Brothers in Lonoke and Eaton Hydraulics as a machinist until he retired in 2008.  Tim was a family man that enjoyed spending time at family gatherings and visiting with family members.  He also had a passion for riding his motorcycle, hunting, and fishing with his sons as well as listening to CCR and Lynard Skynard as well as being an avid Oakland Raiders fan.  Tim was the type of person who never got in a hurry for anything.  From driving to farming, he enjoyed life at his own pace. 
     He married Twila Darlene Waters Jones December 19, 1980 at McRae; she survives.  He is also survived by two sons, James Jones (Rachel) of McRae, and Dustin Jones (fiancé Taylor) of Beebe; two brothers, Dennis Jones (Sandra) of Searcy and Gilbert Jones of McRae; four grandchildren, Eli, Gage, Braxton, and Riverleigh all of whom he dearly cherished.  In addition to a whole host of nieces and nephews, Tim leaves a legacy of friends as well.
     The family will plan a private graveside at a later date.
