Teresa Gamble

Our loving Mother, Teresa Fay Gamble, 62, of Kensett, gained her beautiful wings at 1:31 p.m. on March 12, 2023, at Unity Hospital in Searcy, Arkansas, surrounded by loved ones. She was born August 19, 1960, in Morrilton, Arkansas to Coy and Elsie Harmon.

Teresa lived in Edgard, Louisiana for thirteen years. During this time, she met Shelton Valentine, the father of three of her children. She moved back to Arkansas in 1989 to Kensett, Arkansas. She then met William Hadley, the father of four of her children. Our mother seemed to of been competing with the Brandy Bunch.

She is survived by one sister, Bonnie Harmon, of Kensett, three sons, Shelton Gamble (Joshua Wilder), Christopher Gamble, and Charles Gamble (Lavonda Gaston) of Kensett. Three daughters, Shana Strickland (Bradley) of Letona, Jordan Gamble, and Kayla Gamble (Jeff Ramsey) of Kensett. Four grandsons, Te’Shawn Gamble (son of Lindsey Cisneros) of Kensett, Isaiah Gamble of Searcy, Rhett Butler and Tristyn Gamble ( sons of Lauren Butler) of Judsonia. Three granddaughters, Maley Gamble of West Memphis, River Strickland and Luna Strickland of Letona. A longtime friend of the family, Vincent Balancio. Vincent was like another son to her.

She was proceeded in death by her parents, Coy and Elsie Harmon, her daughter, Clara Gamble, and her grandmother, Minnie Lundy.

Teresa loved spending every moment with her grandchildren. She loved spoiling her fur babies, Kitty and Star. She was a kind, caring woman, who never let her children or grand children do without. We thank her from the bottom of our hearts for everything. She also enjoyed her collection of Tyler Perry shows, plays, and movies. She was a collector of angels, so no doubt she has the most beautiful wings. She will be deeply missed and will forever hold a very special place in all of our hearts.

Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m.,  Monday, March 20, 2023 with funeral services to follow at 2:00 p.m., at Sullivan Funeral Care in Kensett. Burial will be in Crow Cemetery in Kensett.
