Teddy Ivan Burdette

Teddy Ivan Burdette, 73, of McRae, went to be with the Lord Friday, May 1, 2020. He was born July 30 at Berea, Kentucky to the late Coleman and Shirley Mullins Burdette.
     Ted was a painter by trade for all of his life, in which he took great pride in his work.  He enjoyed hunting and fishing; and just the outdoors in general.  He was a member of the 16th Section Union Church for many years.
     He is survived by one son, Skiler Burdette (Jamie) of McRae, four daughters, Robin Schmidt (Dennis) of Searcy, Jamie Howell of Searcy, Amy Shipley of Searcy, and Teddi Kyzer (Eric) of Beebe; five grandsons, Steffan Hendrickson, Miles and Zack White, Christopher Shipley, and Dillon Kyzer; one granddaughter, Alexandria Scott (Zane); four great grandsons; and three great granddaughters; one brother, Jack Burdette (Terry) of Indiana; as well as several nieces and nephews.
     He was preceded in death by his brothers, Kenny, Tom, Doug, and Terry; sister, Charlotte Hayes of Kentucky; and granddaughter, Ashley Daugherty.
     Graveside services will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 6, 2020 at Lebanon Cemetery at McRae.
