Ronald Bradley Obituary

Ronald Jay Bradley, 88 of Searcy, Arkansas passed away at his home on August 25, 2023. He was born on April 21, 1935 to Irby and Mattie Culpepper Bradley in Fort Payne, Alabama. He was a member of Trinity Pentecostal Church of God.

From the time his feet hit the ground, they never stopped. He acquired knowledge and a hard work ethic to provide for his family over the years.  He spent many of his younger years working at Foodmaker, INC in Los Angeles, California. During this time, he met the love of his life, Geneva Ann Bittle and they decided to get married on February 19, 1967 in Las Vagas, Nevada.  In 1980, the Bradley’s ventured out to Arkansas. They landed in the small town of Searcy, Arkansas. Mr. Bradley began his career at the City of Searcy and quickly advanced throughout his career there. He retired in March 2000 and began enjoying life with his wife.

He couldn’t stay home long, he enjoyed working and he kept busy by building sheds, gardening, and mowing yards. He enjoyed doing upkeep on the Bradley home. He was very proud of their accomplishments.  He enjoyed building his John Deere Model M tractor; it was one of his favorites. In his spare time, he and his wife enjoyed looking around at all the different flea markets. They visited the Beebe Flea Market on a regular basis and enjoyed looking around at all the different booths.

He is preceded in death by his parents, five brothers, Macon Bradley, SJ Bradley, Steve Bradley, Wayne Bradley, and Leon Bradley and one sister, Jenila Bradley.

He is survived by his wife, Geneva Bradley, sons, Ronnie and Jeff Bradley, one daughter, Debra Dozier. Brothers, Johnny Bradley and Darrell Bradley and sisters, Bema Freeman, Kay Clark, JoAnn Park, and Brenda Nickoles.
