Robert Jones

Robert “Bob” Jones, 75, of Searcy, passed away May 22, 2021 at his residence.  He was born April 4, 1946 at Farmville, Virginia to the late Stuart and Thelma Epperson Jones.
     Bob was a friendly, humorous, gentleman who never met a stranger.  He was a giving and loving family man as well.  He cherished his family dearly and enjoyed trips to the casino, playing BINGO, and following the Las Vegas Raiders.
     He married Bonnie Selvidge Jones August 8, 2008 at Searcy; she survives.  He is also survived by four children, Robert Jones, Jr (Pamela) of Paris, TN, Robin Jones Lewis of Pontiac, IL, Candy Lee (Patrick) of Searcy, and Casey Beals (Bradley) of Judsonia; twelve grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; mother-in-law, Linda Selvidge; and his beloved four legged companion, his dog Bojangles “BJ”.
     Viewing will be 5-7 p.m. Tuesday, May 25, 2021 at Sullivan Funeral Care with cremation to follow in the Ascension Crematory.
