Rhiannon Stafford Obituary

Rhiannon Danielle Choate Stafford, 39, of Searcy, was born December 5, 1979 in Searcy to Dennis and Phyllis Choate and a host of their friends who became uncles and aunts who quickly learned to care for this 9 pounds of pure joy.
Danielle leaves this world with three children, Josephine Stafford, Max Stafford, and Ivan Choate all of Searcy.  She also leaves her parents, Dennis and Phyllis Choate of McRae; sister, Nicolette Gardner (Dakota) of Searcy; three nieces, Daisy McNeace, Scarlett and Eleanor Gardner; and one nephew, Marshall McNeace; as well as a grandmother, Glenda Chapman of Searcy.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Baron Stafford, and grandparents, Bubbles Choate, Van Chapman, as well as Daisy and Marshall Sterling; great grandparents, Collie and Avanell Fry, Robert and Camilla Choate.
Danielle was allowed to explore Aunt Donna Stevens purse by turning it upside down each and every time Aunt Donna walked through the door. Uncle Dwayne Boyce, Uncle Terry Scarborough and uncle Mike Stegall willingly played Barbie Dolls and taught Danielle and Barbie to make great jumps in her pink corvette.  Danielle looked forward to her Uncle Don Harvey coming from California to bring her new t-shirts, candy and toys that no one in Arkansas had ever seen.  Her “brother” Keith Staggs took her riding around and she loved stopping at, as she called it, “the action”, the local corner store for candy and conversation with the other teens. Danielle learned to be a great roller skater and spent many weekends at the skating rink. Danielle loved to sing and took voice lessons and sang in her Grandpa Collie’s church now and again until the dreadful day she saw herself in the mirror singing and the intense “O” shaped mouth was just not “pretty” and so she stuck to singing in cars and showers after that.  Danielle loved to work in her flower garden.  That love began when she was about three when she picked every one of her dear neighbor Rebecca McNully’s perfectly bloomed tulips and delivered them to Rebecca’s door with the sweetest voice and said, “I brought you flowers.”  Danielle started a new trend of Tulips in a shallow bowl, as the 1.5” stems wouldn’t work in a vase.
Danielle was a 1998 graduate of Searcy High School and loved the outdoors, her plants, hiking, digging for diamonds and crystals. Music was one of her many therapies, where she could always find peace from reality. She was a caretaker at heart, always looking to help those in need, particularly her elderly neighbors.  She loved to bring them dinner, cakes, or just helping them in their garden. Danielle was a domestic Goddess. She always wanted to teach her sister, Nicolette, to be the “Domestic Goddess” she was.  Danielle cherished all forms of life, not wishing to even harm the biggest of spiders. She loved Yoga and became an instructor and taught in several places in Central Arkansas. She loved cooking, baking and doting on her three prized possessions Josephine, Max and Ivan.
Danielle was always up for an adventure with her children, where most mothers would cringe, she watched Max climb the tallest trees, construct a zip line out of their window or allowing Max to carry a machete around at the age of 5.  Ivan shares her passion for thrift stores and making a funky outfit out of the ugliest finds.   Josephine, Danielle’s first born, was most like her mother, adopting her strong will and beauty. From their love for outdoors, always watching over each other and protecting the boys to making crafts for their mother.
Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, August 31, 2019 at First Baptist Church of Judsonia with funeral services at 12 NOON.  Cremation is to follow at Ascension Crematory in Kensett.
