Patricia Lucille Blount

Patricia Lucille Blount, 73, of Garner, passed away February 11, 2020 at her residence.  She was born October 15, 1946 at McRae to the late J.O. and Lavel Shannon Alford.
     Mrs. Blount was a 1964 graduate of McRae High School and a member of Garner Missionary Baptist Church.  She enjoyed fishing, camping, 4-wheeler riding, collecting baseball cards, and hosting cookout and holiday events.  She also loved all types of music but Neil Diamond in particular.  Her greatest loves in life were those who called her “Nana”.
     She married Forest Blount August 22, 1964 at Garner who survives.  She is also survived by two daughters, Michelle Herekamp (Greg) of Searcy and Dana Wilcox (Chris) of Garner; one son, Stephen Blount (Missy) of McRae; ten grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren; as well as three sisters and numerous extended family and friends.
     A memorial visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Friday, February 14, 2020 at Garner Missionary Baptist Church where a memorial service will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday morning.
