Noel Brent ("Son Son") Young

Reflections of  Life's Journey...
Noel Brent Young affectionately known as “Son Son” was born August 13,1941 to the late Julian Sinclair Sr. and Jimmie Reed Young in Searcy Ar.He attended school at White County training school. Son Son accepted Christ at an early age. He was a member of St. Mary CME church in Searcy where he served at faithfully. Son Son has sung in the church choir his entire life and he is known all over White County for his silky,smooth, and deep baritone voice. He was also a member of the White County Federation Choir.
     Son-Son was an avid basketball player with the skills that attracted the Harlem Globe Trotters to wanting to recruit him. Son Son had a passion for detailing cars he did that up until he retired due to health reasons. On Wednesday morning January 13 at Springs nursing home in Searcy he transitioned, exchanging time for eternity. His parents, his son Derrick Young, one brother Julian Sinclair Young Jr. and his niece Donna Young all preceded him in death.

Memorial Service will be held Wednesday, January 20, 2021 at 2:00 p.m.
