Mildred Ruth (Billingsley) Spradlin

Mildred Ruth Spradlin, 80, passed from this life December 29, 2020 at Texarkana.  She was born to the late Ernest Gillespie and Mayme Bussell Billingsley January 11, 1940 at Rector.  While working at a restaurant, she met the love of her life, Don Spradlin.  She knew the moment she met him she was going to marry him.  They married January 15, 1959 and shared 56 beautiful years together. 
     Along with her parents, Mildred was preceded in death by her husband, Don; her daughter, Claudia Bell; and a great granddaughter, Kiera Coderre.
     Mildred was an avid bird watcher.  She loved to sit and watch them. She enjoyed cooking for her family and having gatherings in her home.  She spent her free time working in her gardens, sewing, and watching her western movies.  She absolutely loved to eat ice cream and Sonic’s strawberry slushies.
     Those left to remember her beautiful smile are her son, Clarence Spradlin (Cindy) of Pangburn; daughter, Margo Strickland (Ken) also of Pangburn; grandchildren, Jason, Justin, Brandy, Andy, Coty, Alan, and Jesse; great grandchildren, Jason Jr., Jordan, Nina, George, Chloe, Lauren, Kora, Ryder, Justice, Jase, Jett, Brady, Carter, Kirsten, Isaiah and Dakota.

Visitation will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday January 5, 2020 at Sullivan Memorial Chapel.  Funeral service to follow at 11:00 a.m.  Interment will be at Henderson Cemetery in Pangburn.
