Obituary
Michael Hugh Vines, age 72, of Searcy went home to be with his Lord on Friday, March 31, 2023. He was born August 22, 1950 in Searcy to the late Bernie and Lois Vines. Mr. Vines was a retired machinist for Eaton. He enjoyed working on clocks, tinkering and anything else that he could do to help someone. He was a 1968 graduate of Harding Academy, and a 1986 graduate of Harding University. He also enjoyed riding his motorcycle and driving his convertible.
He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Shirley Gowen Vines, his daughter Tonya Carden and her husband Bill, his brother John Vines and his wife Paula, his sister, Molly Cheatham, his grandchildren Courtney Drain and her husband Justin, Joe Carden and his wife Erin, great-grandchildren William and Blakley and numerous nieces and nephews.
