Obituary
Malone “Mickey” Hausford Peace, age 92, of Kensett went to be with the Lord on May 1, 2023. He was born February 17, 1931, in Russell, AR to the late Owen and Roxie Peace. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Barbara Agnes Peace, four brothers, Dick, Doug, Jack, and Harold, two sisters, Glenda and Jean. Mr. Peace served many years in law enforcement working for the Bald Knob Police Department and White County Sheriff’s Office before becoming a truck driver for 40 years.
Mickey loved working outside in the yard as a past time, but more than that he loved children. He truly had a heart for them, and you could see his face light up when one came around.
He is survived by his daughter Glenda Owens and her husband Anthony, his son, Darren, his grandchildren, Sidney (Taylor) of Searcy, Olivia Owens of Kensett and Cole Branson of Austin, Texas his great-granddaughter Jaylee Lynn Owens many nieces, nephews and friends.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Kennect City Church (First Baptist Church of Kensett).
