Lloyd Leroy Jackson

Lloyd Leroy Jackson, age 80, of Russell went to be with his Lord on Saturday, September 2, 2023. He was born July 24, 1943 in Stafford, AZ to the late Arthur and Margaret Jackson. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter Regina Brady, his son Lloyd Lee Jackson, and his brothers, Herbert, Glen and Wayne Jackson. Mr. Jackson lived life to the fullest, he was a pilot and an avid outdoorsman, and fished in couples tournaments with his wife. He enjoyed hunting and won many turkey shoot awards but fishing was his passion. He and his wife fished during their retirement. He and his brother Ray won a boat as a bass tournament prize. He also enjoyed stock car racing, gardening, canning and making jelly. He was an entrepreneur and entertainer, every year he would host a fish fry and crawfish boil.

He is survived by his loving wife of 25 years, Brenda Jackson, his children, Becky Jennings (Robert), Keith Turner (Fe), Angie Toddy (Carroll), and Matthew Turner (Anitra), his brothers, Ray, Doyle, Donald, Dean and Troy Jackson, his sisters, Shirley Steele, Jean Rogers, Faye Steele, Delores McCorkle and Rita Larson, 10 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, friends and his fur babies York and Poppy.

Memorial services will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, September 9, 2023, at Bradford Church of God.
