Linda Diane (Dupere) Vandiver

Linda Diane Dupere Vandiver, 76 of Searcy, passed away October 25, 2021 at The Crossing in Searcy. She was born November 16, 1944 in Ceres, California to Rolland and Mary (Casey) Dupere.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband of 21 years, Jerry Vandiver.

Left to cherish her memory are two daughters, Sheila Bennett of Conway and Jennifer Howell of Searcy, and son, Jeremy Edwards of Judsonia; four grandchildren who were her pride and joy, Amanda Bennett of Searcy, Adam (Sara) Bennett of Lilburn, GA, Cassidy and Peighton Howell of Searcy; 6 very special great grandsons, Zeke and Zach Holloway, Elijah Bowman, Maddox, Tanner and Jammie Hall, all of Searcy; two sisters, Suzy (Gary) Janosz of Chico, CA and Sandy (Jeff) Stanhope of Hughson, CA, as well as many other family and friends.

Nothing was more important than family to Linda. She will be remembered for the many cakes she made, especially for her grandkids, animal shaped pancakes, and delicious cooking. She had a talent for sewing clothing, as well as smocking, cross stitching, Tri-Chem painting and many other crafts. Linda was a true California girl and loved no place more than the beach.

Visitation will be Wednesday, November 3, 5:00 -7:00 PM at Sullivan Funeral Care in Kensett. Graveside service will be Thursday, November 4 at 2:00 PM at White County Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association or American Diabetes Association.
