Lela Helms Obituary

Lela Rae Helms of Searcy, passed away on September 27, 2022, at the age of 75. Ms. Helms was born to Jewel Wilmeth-Tolor ford and Hayden Arwood Toler in Augusta, Arkansas. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Jimmie Helms, and one daughter, Millicent Dunkelderger.

Ms. Helms is survived by one daughter, Jinnie Keneson of Texas and a son, Ricky Helms of Glen Alan, VA. Two sisters and two brothers, Fran Coleman, Barbara Coleman, Randy Toler, and Brion Keith Toler. Also, surviving are five grandchildren, Kraig Burress, Michael Dunklderger, Ric Helms, Candyce Helms, and Jana McDaniel. Along with eight great grandchildren, Kelby Bradley, Dillan Burress, Jordan Burress Tristian Dunklderger, River Dunklderger, Brantley Cheney, Analissa Cheney, and Keegan Cheney. Additionally, leaving behind one great-great grandchildren, Anebay Grace Burress, As well as one brother-in-law, Donley Helms (Carolyn), and a wonderful friend, Joyce Baker Hoffman.
