Lacole Renee Thompson

Lacole Renee Thompson, 44, of Searcy went to be with the Lord on January 22, 2021. She was born November 11, 1976 at Newport to the late Emma Thompson. 
     Along with her mother, Lacole was preceded in death by her brother, Jimmy Thompson.
     Lacole accepted the Lord at a young age and was united with the St Luke Baptist Church in Augusta.  She attended Augusta High School; Class of 1995.  She worked at General Industries and Woodruff County Nursing Home until her health began to fail her.  She fought a good fight.
     Lacole loved her family and friends. She was full of life and loved to eat, loved to cook, and loved to spend time with her grandbabies and niece.  She has a special love for her siblings, children, grandchildren, and nieces. 
      She is survived by her daughter, Navia Thompson of Searcy; son Fabien Thompson, also of Searcy; two grandchildren, Ker’Shon Jr and Ke’Aunte Davis of Searcy; four brothers, Dewayne Thompson of Malvern, Michael Thompson of Searcy, Marco Thompson of Augusta, and Rodney Johnson, also of Augusta; two sisters, Denise Thompson (Anthony) of Searcy and Pam Johnson of Augusta; two nieces, Akylah Neal and A “Tashai” Norman of Searcy; as well as many other extended family and friends.

Visitation will be at 1:00 p.m., Friday February 5, 2021 at New Quiet Cemetery in Augusta.  Graveside funeral services will follow at 2:00 p.m.
