Katrina Moore Obituary

Mrs. Katrina Leann Moore, 49, of McRae lost her battle to cancer August 20, 2020.  She was born November 24, 1970 at Little Rock to Donald Thomas and Beverly Ann Lester.  Katrina married the love of her life August 24, 2011, Jack Moore; he survives.  They were looking forward to celebrating another year of love and companionship.
Katrina was a member of First Baptist Church of McRae.  She loved God’s creation.  She was happiest being outdoors in the sun and spending time with Jack as he hunted or fished.  She herself was quite the fisherman. She loved her grandchildren with all her heart. Katrina had a special place in her heart for her dogs, and they loved her just as much.  She also treasured the time she spent with her family.  Katrina had a heart of gold and will be missed by all who knew her.  Her family will cherish the memories of her watching movies, reality TV series, and soap operas.  She loved spending time on the water, either swimming or just the calming sound of the waves.  Her flowerbeds were her pride and joy, and her collection of ornamental eggs made a great conversation piece.
She was preceded in death by her father, Donald Thomas.
Those left to remember her kindness are her husband, Jack Moore of McRae; mother, Beverly Lester; daughters, Emily Ellis (Marcus) of Mobile, Alabama and Jacqueline Kamer (Josh) of Beebe; son, Dillion Lindsey (Amber) of Jacksonville; sisters, Marcy Thomas, Lisa Gehring, and Patricia Thomas; brother Rodney Jones; and her beloved grandchildren Jason, Triston, Tucker, Thomas, Lilah-Belle Ellis; Emmy Dahl, Lainlee Lindsey, and Bobby Jumper.  She also leaves behind many other relatives and friends who will miss her sweet spirit.
A private visitation for the family was held August 21, 2020 at Sullivan Memorial Chapel.  The family appreciates your prayers as they say goodbye to someone they loved immensely.
