Kathie Carolettia Hicks

Kathie Kelley Forrest Hicks, 60, of Bradford, passed away December 1, 2019 at Unity Health.  She was born November 22, 1959 at Kennett, Missouri to the late Marion and Annie Mclain Kelley later adopted by Columbus and Bertha Mize Forrest.
     Kathie was a devoted loving wife, mother and grandmother.  She was a homemaker most of her life and loved anything in the color purple.  She never had an unkind word to say about anyone and will be greatly missed.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four brothers and three sisters.
     She married Martin Dean Hicks July 4, 1985 at Searcy who survives her.  She is also survived by a son, Ray Hicks of Odessa, Texas and daughter, Carolettia Boyce (Michael) of Bradford; three grandchildren, Steven and Aiden King, and Aaliyah Hicks; two brothers, Arlie Kelley of Kennett, Missouri, and Wayne Smith of Killeen, TX; and three sisters, Luerheeneia Barton of Augusta, Arkansas, Judy Bright of Stafford, Arizona, and Majorie Skaggs of Pendleton, Indiana. 
     The family will announce a memorial service at a later date.
