Joseph Stuart Aguilon DeLaCruz

Joseph Stuart Aguilon DeLaCruz, 17, of Searcy, passed suddenly from a swimming accident July 6, 2020 at Heber Springs.  He was born December 22, 2002 at San Diego, California.
     Joseph was a senior at Beebe High School and a member of St. James Catholic Church in Searcy.  He enjoyed music, playing drums and the guitar, and was an avid reader.  He also liked super cars and had plans to lift a GMC truck he just purchased.
     He was preceded in death by grandparents, Jose’ Luis Aguilon Mejia and Clemencia Lopez Cuculista; and uncle, Abilio Aguilon Lopez.
     He is survived by his parents, Jose’ Luis Aguilon Lopez and Anavel DeLaCruz Galdamez of Searcy; maternal grandparents, Gloria Galdamez and Fidencio DeLaCruz; four brothers, Luis Angel Aguilon [DeLaCruz] (Morgan), Christopher Aguilon DeLaCruz, Emmanuel Dominic Aguilon DeLaCruz and Abraham Aguilon DeLaCruz and one sister, Dina Lila Aguilon DeLaCruz all of Searcy; as well as many aunts, uncles, extended family and friends.
     Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Friday, July 10, 2020 at Sullivan Funeral Care with Rosary Services at 6:00 p.m.  A funeral Mass will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, July 11, 2020 at St. James Catholic Church in Searcy with burial following at White County Memorial Gardens.
      Due to COVID-19, please use social distancing.  Also, the family requests the use of facial masks during visitation and funeral mass.
