Jerry Brisco Ferren

Jerry Ferren, Sr., 84, of Judsonia, passed away November 21, 2020 at his residence.  He was born June 19, 1936 at Searcy to the late Albert and Elsie Caruthers Ferren.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Juanita Cope.
     Mr. Ferren was of the Baptist faith and was a happy light spirited man who always loved to flirt and make others laugh.
     He married Alba Hernandez Ferren July 3, 1980 at Honduras and later resealing their vows when they returned to Searcy.  In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, Jerry Ferren, Jr. of Searcy, and Steven Ferren of Michigan; four daughters, Robin Ferren of Michigan, Kathy Ferren of Judsonia, Karen Howard (Anthony) of Texarkana and Teresa Jackson (Gregory) of Judsonia; eleven grandchildren, Hunter, Hailey, Isaiah, Miracle, Shelby, Trystan, Sierra, Chandler, Amanda, Dennis, and Andrew; two great grandchildren, Kayden and Paxdon; as well as one sister, Zelma Stevens (Carthal) of Judsonia.
     Visitation will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 25, 2020 at Sullivan Funeral Care with funeral services at 11:00 a.m.  Burial will follow at Providence Cemetery.
