Obituary
Harold Preston Landis, age 88 of Judsonia, passed away peacefully on May 25, 2023. He was born January 29, 1935, in Dripping Springs, AR to the late Virgil and Bessie Tuggle Landis. Harold was a retired truck driver, and was given the handle “Strawberry Special”, he was also a farmer and mechanic. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, singing, dancing, and spending time with family and friends. Harold was a loving husband, father, grandfather, uncle, and friend. He will be deeply missed. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Freda Vaughn, son in laws, Bobbie Teague and Harold Fowler, and two grandchildren.
He is survived by his loving wife, Georgie Capps Landis, children, Harold Dean Landis (Sherry), Janet Teague, Jackie Fowler, Kaye Muldoon (Tony) Calvin Landis (Cindy Ireland, former daughter in law), 11 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, 4 great-great grandchildren, brother-in-law, Clyde Vaughn, and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
A memorial service will be 2:00 p.m., Sunday, May 28, 2023 at Bald Knob Assembly of God at 801 S. Elm St., Bald Knob, AR.
