G.W. Smith Obituary
Gary Wayne “G.W.” Smith, age 76, of Searcy went to be with his Lord on Thursday, September 29, 2022. He was born October 27, 1945 to the late Freddie J. Smith and Johnnie Ruth Smith. Mr. Smith enjoyed hunting, fishing and gardening. He retired after many years in the agricultural chemical industry.
He is survived by his loving wife of 37 years Martha Jean Smith, his children, Stacy Crosby and her husband Kevin, Susan Paoli and her husband David, stepchildren, Mike Houston and Laurie Bearfield, nine grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held 2:00 p.m. Sunday, October 2, 2022, at Higginson First Baptist Church.
