Eddie Askins

Eddie Askins, 76, of Higginson, passed away May 18th 2022 at his residence.  He was born May 18th 1946 at Fair Oaks, Arkansas to the late Edward and Helen Askins.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife Kathy Lynn Askins, two sons Jeremy Lynn Askins, Leslie LaWayne Askins, granddaughter Pheryn Nykole, his parents Edward and Helen Askins, two brothers Darrell Askins and Victor Askins, and a sister Joyce Ann Fason.

He is survived by a son Timmy Askins and two daughters Syndee Mosley (Jason) and Kristie Swafford (Ray); sisters, Sue Lamb and Vivian Claiborne; and many grandkids and even more great-grandkids.

On February 28th of 2022 he gave his heart to the Lord. He had only one job his whole life which was buying and selling cross ties. After he retired you could find him every morning in his recliner watching westerns. He loved fishing and hunting and growing a garden.

Visitation will be 1:00 p.m. Monday May 23, 2022 at Sullivan Funeral Care with funeral services at 2:00 p. m.  Burial will follow at the Beebe Cemetery.
