David Winget

David Eugene Winget, age 77 of Kensett, passed away September 19, 2023.  He was born August 25, 1946 in Joplin, Missouri to the late Eugene and Eleanor Bricker Winget. David was a retired over the road truck driver, and in his retirement years, enjoyed fishing, working in the yard, and fixing cars.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death a granddaughter, Dennise Winget, by his brother, Daniel Winget, and one sister, Beth Alexander.

David is survived by his loving wife, Kay Mobley Winget, children, Wendy Sue Gregory, Darren Eugene Winget, and Dennis Edward Winget (Tressie), grandchildren, John Gregory, Byran Gregory, Tamitha Gatewood, and David Russell Gregory, and by his siblings, Iva Briggs and Leah Alexander, and many other family and friends.

Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m., Saturday, September 23, 2023, at Landmark Baptist Church in Searcy with funeral services to follow at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be in Weir Cemetery near Beebe.
