David Howard Carmichael

David Howard Carmichael, 58, of McRae went to be with the Lord on September 29, 2020.  He was born November 5, 1961 to the late C.H. and Hazel Mae Carmichael. 
     David loved to spend his free time soaking up the outside weather.  He was a member of Mountain View Missionary Baptist church and attended the services there until his health prevented it.  David’s faith was important to him and enjoyed a good sermon.  He was also a self-proclaimed gunsmith.  He soaked up information about firearms like a sponge.  He had a great deal of knowledge when it came to building guns and gun safety.  A surprising twist to David’s interest was his love of doing art.  We can appreciate he is now in the presence of the Divine Artist.
     Along with his parents, David was preceded in death by his brother, Charles W Carmichael.
     He is survived by two sisters, Martha Ann Whitlow (Bart) of Searcy and Phyllis Gay Roberts of Jonesboro; three brothers, James Carmichael (Carroll) of Center Hill; Wayne Carmichael (Alys) of Searcy and Harold Carmichael of McRae.  He is also survived by 16 nieces and nephews: as well as many great nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday October 3, 2020 at Center Hill Baptist Cemetery.
