Daniel "Danny" Milton Baker, III

BELOVED SON, HUSBAND, FATHER, FRIEND

Daniel Milton Baker III (Danny) age 58, passed away sitting in his favorite chair at home in Higginson on August 19th, 2023 from complications related to a recent heart attack. Danny was born May 29th, 1965 in Searcy, AR. He spent his life in the Searcy area investing in the community as a small business owner of a wholesale landscape nursery (Three D Nursery) and later as a general contractor & developer (Three D Construction) as well as a landlord of several rental properties in the Searcy and Higginson areas.

He is survived by his wife (Joy), his two children (Kathryn and Emily), his mother (Janet), his sister (Andrea), and his Aunt (Sandra). He is preceded in death by his dad (Daniel Milton Baker Jr.).

Danny's Life

Danny met his wife, Joy Anderson, at Arkansas Tech University in the band french horn section in 1986. After dating for 5 years through college they married and built their home in Higginson near his family. They were blessed with two beautiful children, Kathryn & Emily, of whom he was immensely proud. Danny made lifelong friends and strived to have a positive impact in each of the various groups he joined through the years. He loved his family and friends and was extremely loyal and helpful to all.

Danny was passionate about traveling, music, nature and hiking, sailing, camping and vintage camper rallies, vintage cars, his support fellowship, and his college fraternity. We will miss everything about Danny, but most of all his adventurous spirit, silly sense of humor, and dedication to his family.
