Carolyn Howell Rodgers, 73, of Beebe, formerly of Bald Knob, passed away July 6, 2019 at Beebe Retirement Center. She was born December 5, 1945 at Joplin, Missouri to the late Olgesby and Daisey Mae White Howell.
Carolyn was a loving mother who was hard working and strong willed. She was a retired truck driver and was loved by all and will be dearly missed.
She married James Rodgers Jr. August 28, 1965 at Batesville, Arkansas; he preceded her in death December 15, 1985. She was also preceded in death by two sisters, Norma Greenfield and Cordie Reynolds.
She is survived by three daughters, Jimmie Ramsey (Steve) of Beebe, Missy Coates (Phillip) of Siloam Springs, and Kimberly Moore (Darrell) of Bald Knob; one son, James Rodgers of Bald Knob; six grandchildren, Ammie, Derek, Shannon, Monica, Mackenzie, and Kaitlyn; nine great grandchildren, Jadyn, Carsyn, Landyn, Addisyn, Luke, Logan, Landyn Brylee, Lilliann, and Hoyt; three brothers, Jimmy Howell of Bexar, Pete Howell of Salem, and Butch Howell of Viola; as well as many extended family and friends.
Graveside services will be 11:00 am Tuesday, July 9, 2019 at Weavers Chapel Cemetery in Batesville.
