Carol (Parmer) Deaton

Carol Parmer Deaton, 61, of West Point, passed away August 21, 2021, at Unity Health in Searcy.  She was born June 7, 1960, at Pine Bluff to the late Lendon and Mary Hubbard Parmer.
     Carol was a hard-working woman who loved her family dearly.  She worked in data entry for TASC – who assess county property values.  She enjoyed the simple things in life – enjoyed fishing, riding horses, and just spending time with those she loved. 
     She married Ellis Deaton September 9, 1995, at West Point; he survives.  She is also survived by two children, Robin Holloway, and Anthony Holloway of West Point; three grandchildren, Morgan Hill, Christoher IZ Tyler Childers, and Alivia Grace Childers; great grandson, Carter Matthew Hill; and one brother, Charles Parmer (Mary) of Higginson as well as a niece and nephew, Kara Jade Milligan of West Point and Heath Parmer of Little Rock.
     Memorial services will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, August 26, 2021, in the Sullivan Memorial Chapel.
