Billy Henderson Obituary

Billy Max Henderson, Jr., “Maxie”, 72, of Searcy, formerly of Pleasant Plains, passed away April 22, 2021 at The Crossing at Riverside Nursing Home.  He was born November 5, 1948 at Searcy to the late Billy and Wilma King Henderson.
     Mr. Henderson was a member of Holly Springs Baptist Church and a graduate of White County Central High School.  He served proudly in the USAF for four years during Vietnam.  He loved to fish in earlier years, playing at casinos and listening to country music.
     In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his stepfather, SG Penn; and nephew, John Henderson.
     He is survived by two daughters, Julie Bryant (James) and Jessica Moore all of Judsonia; grandchildren, Brook Freeman (Nick), Hunter Becker, Heather Ross, Miranda Ross, Andrew Moore, Joe Eppes, and Carley Miller; two sisters, Kay Birdsong and Sandra Keener as well as a brother, Joe Penn all of Batesville.
     Visitation will begin 10:00 a.m. Saturday, April 24, 2021 at Sullivan Funeral Care with funeral services starting at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Roosevelt Cemetery.
