Betty Joe (Medler) Kidd

Betty Joe Medler Kidd, 76, of Georgetown passed away February 28, 2020 at Unity Health in Searcy.  She was born April 19, 1943 at West Point to the late Raleigh and Nettie Phelps Medler.
     Mrs. Kidd was a loving mother and grandmother who cherished her family first and foremost.  She loved Sundays, as it was a day for family, and she cooked for them until her health failed.  She also loved to fish, hunt, and garden.
     In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Ronnie Medler and sister, Gloria Medler.
     She married James Kidd June 27, 1959 at Augusta who survives.  She is also survived by three daughters, Tammie Wyatt (Tim) of Judsonia, Kelly Powell (Kelly) of Heber Springs, and Jamey Marshall of Griffithville; two sons, Larry Kidd of Georgetown and Tony Kidd (Judy) of West Point; five brothers, Freddie Medler (Lois) of Lebanon, Missouri, Kenneth Medler (Nancy) of Judsonia, Billy Medler (Cheryl) of Searcy, Bobby Medler of Searcy, and Pete Medler (Betty) of Kensett; one sister, Ruth Moore of Searcy; nine grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
