Betty Ruth Ferren

Betty Ruth Ferren went to be with Lord April 7, 2024.  She was born July 29, 1939, at Kensett, Arkansas to the late Vernon and Dorothy Davis Griggs.

Betty graduated from Kensett High School and married the late Donnie L. Ferren.  She was a wonderful mother, homemaker, cook, and military wife.  She was a talented painter, seamstress, and knitter who gifted her works of art to family and friends.  She enjoyed flower gardening, maintaining her bird feeder, and loving her pet dogs.

Betty is survived by her two sons, Mitch Ferren (Leigh) of Knoxville, TN, and Tim Ferren of Memphis, TN.; two granddaughters, Jennifer Dawson (David) of Maryville, TN and Candice Ferren of Spring City, TN; five great grandchildren, Courtney, Christopher, Collin, Savannah, and Owen; one sister Debbie Vest (Winford) of Kensett, AR; as well as a host of extended family and friends.

A visitation will be held on Friday, April 12, 2024 from 4:30 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Sullivan Funeral Care Chapel in Kensett, Arkansas. A graveside will be held on Saturday, April 13, 2024 at 10:30 a.m. at Kensett Cemetery in Kensett, Arkansas.
