Barbara Ann (Yarrington) Baker

Barbara Yarrington Baker, 61, of Searcy, went to be with the Lord February 23, 2021 at Unity Health in Searcy.  She was born October 17, 1959 at Tahoka, Texas to the late James Lee Yarrington and Patricia Ann Yarrington.
     Mrs. Baker accepted Christ at a young age, and was a member of First Christian Church in Bald Knob.  She never met a stranger and was known for her great sense of humor.  She is admired and remembered for her giving nature, thoughtfulness, and her love for God.  She was the best mother a child could ask for.
     She leaves to cherish her memory, a daughter, Danielle Baker of Searcy; her beloved mother, Patricia Yarrington of Judsonia; two brothers, Robert Yarrington (Carol Ann) of Pangburn and Jim Yarrington (Erika) of Judsonia; six sisters, Nancy Reaves (David) of Austin, Carol J. Yarrington of Searcy, Sharon Wingate (Jesse) of Judsonia, Kathy Chapman (David) of Judsonia, Jackie Townsley (Russell) of Floral as well as Betty Schmidt of Judsonia, who may not have been a blood sister, but was considered just as one of her own.  In addition to her father, Barbara was preceded in death by a brother, Mike Yarrington.
     The family will have a memorial service at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 3, 2021 at the Judsonia Community Center.
