William David Payne

William David Payne, 68, of McCrory, passed away August 4, 2018 at Unity Health in Searcy.  He was born August 12, 1949 in Augusta to the late William Van Payne and Annie Mae Price Payne.
     William loved to hunt, fish, and was a sports fanatic who enjoyed anything athletic. He was also a 1968 graduate of Judsonia High School.
     In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two daughters, Tracy Holloway and Paula Payne; and one sister, Carolyn Bisbee.
     He is survived by his spouse, Naomi Payne; two sons, Phillip Woodson (Jena) of Bentonville and John David Payne (Jennifer) of Rogersville, Alabama; nine grandchildren, April Powell (Brian), Kyle Woodson, Bailey Gentry (Brock), Emily Slaughter, Jessica Garner, Ricky Hammonds, Nathan Payne, Sara Woodson, and Walker Joe Woodson; five great grandchildren;  two brothers, Joe Payne (Melodie) of McRae and Jim Payne of Searcy; one sister, Barbara Nelson (Michael) of Jonesboro; as well as a host of nieces and nephews.
     Visitation will begin 1:00 p.m. until 2:30 Tuesday, August 7, 2018 at Sullivan Funeral Care in Kensett.  Graveside services will follow at 3:00 p.m. at Evergreen Cemetery in Judsonia.
