Wayne Freeman, 72, of Kensett, passed away March 2, 2018 at Unity Health in Searcy. He was born February 4, 1946 in Searcy to the late Samuel and Vivian Lovett Freeman.
Mr. Freeman attended West Point Baptist Church and was a veteran of the US Army, serving during Vietnam. He loved hunting, fishing, and spending time with family and friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Phyllis and Vickie Freeman.
He married Jeanette Good Freeman February 14, 1969 at Searcy, Arkansas; she survives. He is also survived by one son, Kenneth Dewayne Freeman (Melissa) of Kensett; grandchildren, Abbey Freeman of Heber Springs, Brooklyn Freeman (Nick) of Searcy, Zackery Wade of Hot Springs, and Danielle Wade North (Heath) of Stuttgart; great grandchildren, Noelle and Baleigh Emberton of Stuttgart; three brothers, Robert Freeman (Jeanette) of Searcy, Sammy Freeman of Heber Springs, and Bobby Freeman of DeRidder, Louisiana.
Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Monday, March 5, 2018 at Sullivan Funeral Care in Kensett. Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 6 at West Point Baptist Church with burial following at Kensett Cemetery with Military Honors.
