Trudy Ellen Steward

Trudy Steward, 72, of McRae, passed away November 25, 2019 at Unity Health in Searcy.  She was born March 27, 1947 at Sherman, Texas to the late Harmon and Joyce Barnes Estes.
     Mrs. Steward was a loving mother, sister, and grandmother.  She loved gardening and nature as well as reading mystery novels and antiquing.
     In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Johnie F. Steward on August 16, 2012.
     She is survived by two daughters, Lori Willard of Porter, Texas and Melissa Morrison (Gordon) of Chapel Hill, North Carolina; four grandchildren, Tyler Willard (Kathleen) of Porter, Texas, Tommie Morrison, Johnie Morrison and Sean Morrison all of Chapel Hill North Carolina; two sisters, Cheryl Rice (DeWayne) of Germantown, Tennessee and Kay Houchins (Mike) of Jacksonville, Arkansas; three nephews, Adam Houchins of Jackonville, Arkansas, Eric Houchins (Kristy) of Cabot, and Anthony Rice of Tennessee; one niece, Cherina Kelly (Sean) also of Tennessee; as well as other extended family and friends.
     Mrs. Steward requested cremation with no services to be scheduled.
