Robert M Riddle

Robert M. Riddle, 85, of Shirley, passed away December 26, 2019 at the Veteran’s Hospital in Little Rock.  He was born September 30, 1934 at Little Rock to the late Robert and Hugh Meriweather Riddle.
     Robert was a loving father and grandfather.  He was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting and fishing.  He also loved to dance and sing karaoke.  He served in the United States Navy and retired from Kmart and was an active member of Masons, Shriners, Elks Lodge and the VFW.
     In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, George Riddle and grandson, Dustin Cockerhan.
     He is survived by his loving companion of 15 years, Joyce Ellis; two daughters, Connie Farish (James) of Tulsa and Bonnie Lee Maisano (Michael) of Krebs; two sons, Neil Smith (Jean) of Dallas and Bart Smith of Japan; four grandchildren, Justin, Rob, Sheri, and Krystal; nine great grandchildren, Cody, Colin, Evan, Kaylee, Kaylynn, Cheyenne, Madison, Faith, and Justin; two great great grandchildren, Keclee and Riker; one brother, James Riddle (Sue Ann) of Searcy and sister, Sara Riddle of Little Rock.
     Visitation will be 12:30 until 1:30 Monday, December 30, 2019 at Sullivan Funeral Care with graveside services following at 2:00 p.m. at Oak Grove Cemetery in Searcy.
