Rebecca Ellen (Cole) Yates

Rebecca Yates, 64, of Searcy, formerly of Redfield, passed away August 30, 2019 at her daughter’s residence in Searcy.  She was born February 19, 1955 at Stuttgart to the late Hampton and Maxine Chance Cole.
     Ms. Yates was a simple woman; she loved the outdoors, camping, fishing, hunting deer, and enjoyed nature in general.  But, most of all, she enjoyed being with her family who she dearly loved.
     In addition to her parents, she was preceded by death of her husband, James Yates in December 2001; and two brothers, David and Roger Cole.
     She is survived by two daughters, Mistie Vannatter (Tommy) of Searcy and Jennifer Brown (DeWayne) of Sheridan; six grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; two brothers, Rex Cole of Vilonia and Donnie Cole (Rose) of Jacksonville; as well as several nieces.
     Memorial services are 2:00 p.m. Thursday, September 5, 2019 in the Sullivan Memorial Chapel.
