Rachel Irene Brown

Rachel Brown, 79, of Searcy, passed away December 4, 2019 at Baptist Health in Little Rock.  She was born February 21, 1940 in Searcy to the late Billy and Lena Finch Vaughan.
     Mrs. Brown loved to play bingo and dance at the senior center as well as hunting bargains and yard sales.
     She married David Brown February 28, 1959 at Searcy.  He preceded her in death December 9, 1984.  In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her son, David Brown Jr.; two brothers, Jim and Bo Vaughan; and two sisters, Willie Hopper and Faye Woodle.
     She is survived by a daughter, Rabakah Snyder (Jeff) of Conway; two sons, Steve Brown (Julie) of Mt. Sterling, Ohio and Greg Brown (Trish) of Beebe; eleven grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.
     A memorial visitation will be 2-4 p.m. Saturday, December 7, 2019 in the Sullivan Memorial Chapel.
