Laura Hanners Obituary

Laura Hanners, 64, of Mena, Arkansas, passed away December 20, 2019, at Unity Health in Searcy. She was born May 11, 1955, in Kansas City, Missouri, to the late Harry Neal and Velma Faulkner Thompson.

Laura was a lifelong caregiver and loved quilting.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Harry Eugene Thompson. She is survived by her son, Johnathan Hanners, of Mena, and daughter, Kimmi Hanners of Searcy. She is also survived by a brother, Clifford Thompson; and five sisters, Diana Nielsen, Kathee Hummel, Sherri Pope, Karen Abounader, and Sharon Neal.
