Jessie Theodore Smith

Jessie Theodore Smith, 83, of Searcy, formerly of Deerborn, Michigan, passed away June 28, 2019 at his residence.  He was born December 24, 1935 at El Paso, Arkansas to the late Jessie and Woodie Harding Smith.
     In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Doris Evelyn Smith; two brothers, Sherman and Harvey Smith; sister, Brenda Jobe; and son-in-law, Steve Thomas.
     He married Bobbie Bradberry Smith January 12, 2000 at Toledo, Ohio; she survives.  He is also survived by a daughter, Karen Thomas of Michigan; two sons, Randy Smith (Barb) of Tennessee and Tommy Smith of Ohio; step son, Woody Bradberry, Jr. (Kathy) of Benton; step daughter, Cindy Brock (Johnny) of Searcy; sister, Gennie Rae Sarringer of Beebe; twelve grandchildren and eighteen great grandchildren.
     No local services are planned.  The family will have a memorial service at a later date in Michigan.
     The family would like to give a special thank you to the staff of Hospice of Central Arkansas for the wonderful care they gave during the past few months.  We appreciate all of you more than words can express.  We also appreciate Chaplain Scott for his visits and prayers.
