James Watson Dillard

James “Sam” Dillard, 68, of Bald Knob, passed away July 18, 2019 at Unity Health in Searcy.  He was born March 21, 1951 at Hernando, Mississippi to the late Lester and Peggy Green Dillard.
     Mr. Dillard was a retired truck driver who loved to fish and be outdoors.  He was a loving husband and grandfather who will be remembered for his great sense of humor.
     In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one brother, Charles Dillard.
     He married Suzette Moore Dillard July 8, 1988 at Eutaw, Alabama; she survives.  He is also survived by four sons, Jaymie Dillard (Christie) of Clarendon, Justin Dillard (Andrea) of Judsonia, Jared Dillard (Heather) of Judsonia, Josh Dillard (Alisa) of Pangburn one daughter, Amy Stanley of Conway; seven grandchildren; and two brothers, Gordon Dillard of Bald Knob and Chester Dillard of Russellville.
     Memorial services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, July 20, 2019 in the Sullivan Memorial Chapel.
