Ernest Wayne Skinner

Ernest Skinner, 50, of McRae, passed away September 29, 2019 at his residence.  He was born January 22, 1969 at Searcy.
     Ernest was a 1987 graduate of Rose Bud High School.  He loved music and played guitar in a band named DiamondBack.  He also loved watching Razorback football, Nascar, and all things related to KISS music.  He was always passionate about his work and most recently employed with Unity Health in Searcy as a maintenance technician.
     He was preceded in death by his father, June Skinner; paternal grandparents, James and Deafo Skinner; and maternal grandparents, Ernest and Maudie Langley.
     He married Kathy Gates Skinner November 27, 2002 at Searcy; she survives.  He is also survived by two sons, Alton Gates and Dylan Skinner as well as a daughter, Summer Skinner all of McRae; his beloved mother, Dianne Langley Skinner; and sister, Jennifer Simon both of Searcy.

     Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Wednesday, October 2, 2019 at Sullivan Funeral Care.  Funeral services are 2:00 p.m. Thursday, in the Sullivan Memorial Chapel with burial following at Weir Cemetery.
