Charles Bo Pool

Charles “Bo” Pool, 83, of Higginson, passed away October 31, 2019 at his residence.  He was born August 2, 1936 at Higginson to the late Eugene and Kathryn Pool.
     Mr. Pool was a retired equipment operator for Harding University where he was employed for 30 years.  He also was a sheetrock hanger throughout his life.  Aside from work and family, he enjoyed fishing.
     He married Nancy Gurley Pool May 21, 1955 at Lonoke; she preceded him in death July 1, 2016.  He was also preceded in death by a brother, Jack Felts; and best friends, Cecil Blackwell and Vick Latture.
     He is survived by a son, Chuck Pool (Carol) of Kensett; three daughters, Frances Cherry (Eric) and Stephanie Davis (Paul) both of Higginson and Melanie Fisher of Searcy; six grandchildren and nine great grandchildren; as well as a host of extended family and friends.
     Visitation will be 1 until 2 pm Wednesday, November 6, 2019 at Sullivan Funeral Care where funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. in the Sullivan Memorial Chapel.  Burial will follow at Kensett Cemetery.
