Cal Benny Siler, Sr., 67, of Pangburn, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, December 26, 2019. He was born June 28, 1952 in Bradford to the late Otha and Ruby Owens Siler.
Ben was a Christian and of the Baptist faith. He was a concrete finisher for 40 years and loved being outdoors. He enjoyed hunting and fishing but most of all Ben loved making a garden and giving the vegetables to his family and friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers, Cecil Owens, Wayne Siler, Otha Siler, Jr., and Jerry Siler; as well as two sisters, Elizabeth Morningstar and Annie Yates.
He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Janet Davis Siler; sons, Cal Siler, Jr. (Jennifer), Jason Siler (Heather), Michael Siler (Erica), eight grandchildren, Brett, Alexis, Anna, Jessi, Rissa, Kendall, Maddie, and Knoxx; and eight great-grandchildren. He is also survived by six brothers, Dale Corbit, Bob Siler, Ronnie Siler (Sandy), Gary “Bo” Siler (Karen), Rodney “Butch” Siler, James Siler (Brenda); three sisters, Ann Castor (Harvey) Mary Hess (Charles), and Debbie Hood; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Monday, December 30, 2019 at Sullivan Funeral Care. Funeral services are 10:00 a.m. Tuesday in the Sullivan Memorial Chapel with burial following at Henderson Cemetery in Pangburn.
