Willie Gene Hicks, 70, of Judsonia, passed away June 27, 2017 at the VA in Little Rock.  He was born October 19, 1946 at Vacaville, California to the late Garland and Gertie McPike Hicks.
     Mr. Hicks was a veteran of the Navy and he loved hunting and fishing.  He will be remembered as a people person who loved everyone.
     In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Leon and Howard Hicks; and two sisters, Sara Slinker and Judy Marcinkowski.
    He married Judy Wesner Hicks August 7, 1967 at Reno, Nevada; she survives.  He is also survived by four daughters, Thelma Heath (Kelley) of California, Tamice Davis (Robert), Teana Burnside (Jimmy) and Tresa Tate (Steve) all of Judsonia; one brother, James Hicks of Nevada; eight grandchildren and one great grandchild.
     After cremation, there will be a private family gathering at a later date.
