Nancy Jo Davis

Nancy Jo Davis, 81, of Searcy, passed from this life January 30, 2018 at her sons residence.  She was born July 11, 1936 at Kokomo, Indiana to the late Ralph and Ruth Latta Shuck.
     She was a graduate of Kokomo High School and retired from Aramark at Harding University.  She was a dedicated worker who raised her seven children independently after her husbands passing.  She loved sports, and always attended her grandchildren’s games, and the Razorbacks were her passion.  But most of all, she loved spending time with her family.
     She married Hershell Davis September 1, 1957 at Kokomo, Indiana; he preceded her in death November 13, 1978.  She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Ralph and Bob Shuck; and two sisters, Helen Norris and Ruth Mitchell.
     She is survived by four sons, Paul Davis (Stephanie) of Higginson, Brian Davis (Pam) of Searcy, Mark Davis (Angela) of Rose Bud, and Brad Davis (Teresa) of McRae; three daughters, Teresa Garner of Searcy, Robin Toney of McRae, and Carrie Davis of Searcy; one sister, Barbara Allen (Keith) of Fort Meyers, Florida; eighteen grandchildren and eighteen great grandchildren.
     Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. Saturday February 3, 2018 at Sullivan Funeral Care in Kensett until the funeral hour at 11:00 a.m.  Burial will follow at Kensett Cemetery.
